April Fools' Day, four days before, i got up early and drove to airport, took the morning plane to Xiamen. and in the cabin, i meet two boys, which were my schoolmates, they took the same plane to Singapore, and we had not meet again after graduated more than ten years.
it would be a nice trip originally. but when i arrived and turn on my phone, a friend call me unceasing, answered, cryed to told me there was a terrible thing happened, friend A got a bad news. i couldn't believe it because we had dinner together two days before. i was worried, the badest thing i could image was traffic accident. but soon i cool down, i remembered that day was April 1st. then i called the A's wife, she said A was gone. i couldn't distinguished she was crying or laughing, but i still told her not to pretend to cheat me, her acting was so bad. the following ten minutes, the call one by one, different friends asked me if it was true, i still couldn't believed because it was so truely to force you to accept. until my boss call me to asked, that's when i realized something bad really happened. then i called my father, the news confirmed, A died suddenly, by myocardial infarction. i can't believe it as before, beacuse never heard A had something wrong with his heart. but i still bought the latest tickets to back.
the friend which call me first told me when A's wife call he, he and others also can't believe it, till they drove to the hospital, found that A was in mortuary, they still couldn't not accept the happens. on the way to hospital, they called me over and over, but that time i was on the plane, my phone was turn down.
April 2ed, A's birthday of 28, his wife, the friends, had a birthday party in funeral parlor. April 3th, after the last goodbye, all the friends went to the restaurant which we had dinner together four days before, that was the last time we eats something together. in the some room, everyone took the same seats, drunk the same beverage and eat the some foods.
now, the gift which A bought for my birthday three years before was still on my desk in my office. and he always said that our friendly relation was continued more than twenty years. we grown up together, and be scolded by our parents together when we were young. and then, we became colleague, usually eat or go out together. but now all have gone.
