Does Apple think the world is rotten to the core?
Do these techno nerds believe for a moment their electronic gizmos are going to supplant books?
Dream on geeks. Books have been around for hundreds of years and will out live computers.
Buying a book is a sensual experience. The smell of the new paper, the feel of the book jacket. The thrill of getting a bargain, such as buying three books for the price of two.
And after youve read your latest novel, or biography you have the pleasure of putting it on your bookshelf.

OK, I hear you say, the price will come down. You can now buy a Kindle digital reader for as little as 100 bucks.
