Today is the first day in April. A new
month starts again!
As the Wharf engagement entered into its
final stage, some team members have been released, including May from the Tax
department and Andy from the Advisory department.
We had a farewell lunch last Friday at Pier
7 Caf & Bar. We sat together outdoor in the sunshine. The view was great
and we can see the Victoria Harbor right besides us. The food was delicious and
there were plenty of vegetables, which I had missed for months. For one moment,
I felt like I was back at TST again, when we were together all the time,
working, talking, and eating and the work pace was somewhat slower that now at
the office. Then we had our trip to Macau during the weekends, for which we had
been planning since March. We had a feast at noon and kept eating various
snacks all the way to the evening. Then everyone headed to the casino to try
his fortune.
Looking back, the 2 months working at
Wharf has been a delightful experience, I think I am really lucky to be a part
of the 20-people team. They were all nice people, kind, funny and helpful. Although the
workload was a bit heavy and left me with little personal life, I had been filled
with happiness and warmth everyday.
My booking was extended to June, so there
are still 3 more months to go. But more and more colleagues will be released
for other engagements. Therefore it is unlikely that we can have such a
gathering again in the near future. Anyway
I will remember all the happy days forever, bless all my teammates and myself and
stride ahead for more challenges!
