Now Im sitting on my chair again, before I type the title, Im a little hesitated. After all, Dream of the Red Chamber is really different from Beijing Love Story, whats more, there is also a kind of subject called redology. Thinking of this, Im a little timid to write my reviews on Red Chamber, however, its a special day today, Ive finished reading Dream of the Red Chamber for the first time. The novel is really the greatest novel Ive ever read before. Chairman Mao said there were only four great inventions plus Dream of the Red Chamber, indicating him thinking really much of it. He also said unless you had read it for five times, then you had privilege to show your review. Im sorry I have to disappoint him for Im really excited and wanted to say something on Red Chamber. I began to read this novel in 2011 and finally finished it today. Cao Xueqin used brush to write this novel, living in both poverty and fantasy.
Jia Baoyu, the main protagonist, likes to stay with all women in the house forever. Though he loves Lin Daiyu, he loves all of them and isnt willing to let anyone of them marry or leave. He understands and cares them very much. Because theyre beautiful and intelligent and virtuous. Someone said he was stupid, there were so many wonderful women in the house, why did he prefer the sick cousin Lin instead? No one has the right to judge others love. Because love isnt a thing people can say clearly. He loves cousin Lin, no one understands him and Im afraid he cant understand himself either. Originally I had really much to say, after receiving a call, all of my thoughts were gone.
Thats it. Maybe I can write it again when Im in good mood. Ive stood on the balcony for a little while. The guy living on my left is watching TV, the couple living on my right are flirting with each other happily, every one has his own way of happiness. Im sitting quietly in my room to write something.
After finished reading this novel, I felt I became a little sensitive and decided to write something. So I stood on the balcony, hoping to see the moon, but it didnt come out tonight. I really need to learn the spirit of Cao Xueqin. Now I have computer and good library for me to use, who do I need to make excuse not to write something. By the way, I can earn my bread by technology, Cao could only support himself by painting. Actually, I think he is a great writer, but he should learn how to live well at first, after all, poorness isnt a word belongs to writer. Maybe richness wont let Cao produce Dream of the Red Chamber. I dont know, but therere so many Number One Scholar died without anything left. For five thousand years, there was only one Cao Xueqin, but tens of thousands of Number One scholars. This is a good book . Maybe I should read it at least for five times. Really a little ashamed, Ill write another article with the same title in future.
