The Cultural Revolution happened in whose age?
Recently Chairman Maos grandson said that his grandfathers era had no corruption but justice. It reminds me of a story. One day in ancient time, a minister told his king that many people starved to death in the sovereign nation as there was little grain. To his surprise, the king asked his minster why his people didnt eat meat instead of grain to avoid starving. Maos grandson lived in the palace when his grandfather was the leader. He had enough food to eat and enough clothes to bundle up and enough teachers to learn from and anything enough to play with. If his grandfather were not Chairman Mao, who believes that he has the chance to be a general? Anyhow, a man who is replete doesnt know how hungry a poor man is. A man who lived in the palace didnt know what lives Chinese people led then.
In Mao Zedong Era, China was led by the great leader and great teacher and great commander and great helmsman. Under the great leaders leading, we lived in the great Mao Zedong Era when we were as poor as the church mice. Every month we had only 150 grams food oil supply. An urban adult only had about 15 kilograms food supplies each month to keep his body and soul together. In the countryside, many people even starved to death when the crop was bad. Who dared to dream of living in his own house, driving his own car, watching color TV, touring abroad and enjoying anything legal that time?
Yes, there was corruption in Mao Zedong Era because indeed. Some female educated youth had to bribe the relevant despicable officials with their virginity to exchange a chance of going back to the city. It was really a wonderfully great Mao Zedong era. People were so poor that they had no money to bribe the officials.
Lets look at how righteous the great Mao Zedong era was. During the great Cultural Revolution, and and many other old revolutionaries were killed or persecuted because they dissented from Maos point of view. The high-ranking officials were even killed or persecuted let alone ordinary people. An era during which there was no any human right was a living hell no matter how clean it was. A lawless era was actually called righteous society. Dont you think it is ludicrous?
You mustnt tell me that the ten-year havoc was just a misunderstanding. You mustnt tell me that and and many other old revolutionaries were really counterrevolutionaries. You mustnt tell me that Chinese people lived rich lives in the great era. You mustnt tell me that everyone had equal rights that time. In a word, you mustnt tell me it wasnt a living hell. We communists are aboveboard. We dare to admit and confess the blunders we made. We never tell lies. White is white and black is black. There must be corruptions and bribes and unright in any society no matter whose era it is. It is needless for us to say folderol or flimflam glossing over wrongs.
